THe Chancel CHoir
The Chancel Choir serves as the principal musical leadership in our weekly 11:00 am traditional worship service throughout the church year. The choir is open to adults and high school students who love singing. Auditions are not required for membership. All are welcome. Music highlights include an annual community Christmas concert, Palm Sunday Festival Celebration, and Easter Sunday music. The choir rehearses on Wednesdays from 7:15 - 8:15 pm. Rehearsal times are extended during Lent and Advent in preparation for Holy Week and Christmas.Questions about the Chancel Choir? Please email the director, Tim Spraggins, at tim@haygoodumc.org.
The Handbell Choir
This instrumental ensemble performs in worship throughout the year and are featured in musical events and celebrations. This is a perfect introductory group for adults and high school youth musicians. The Handbell Choir meets from 6:15-7 p.m. on Wednesdays of each month (September – May).
