Special Session on LGBTQ and the Faith Community

Join us for a special session on Sunday September 15th from 9:30-10:45a.m. in room 105. We’ll hear Denise VanLanduyt witness to the experience of the LGBTQ community within the life of the church. Denise is the lay leader of Decatur First United Methodist Church and also a leader in the UMCNext movement of North Georgia. As part of the LGBTQ community, Denise will share her redemptive journey back into the life of the Christian faith.
