Welcome to our Children’s Ministry website! We believe that a strong church starts with its littlest members. Our team is passionate about teaching faith formation to children. The safety of our kids is of utmost importance. Click here to learn more about our Safe Sanctuary policy or to be trained.
From Sunday mornings to Wednesday nights, we have a program for your little one:

Sundays:
Children’s Church (3 years to 5th grade)
Children’s Church will meet following Children’s Moments. It is open for children ages 3 years to 5th grade. Parents should check their children in either in the back or front of Sanctuary prior the start of our worship service. Kids ages 3 years through 5th grade will dismiss to the gym for scripture study and fellowship that is geared toward them. Like adult worship, Children’s Church is grounded in the beloved Bible stories and lessons. Parents pick their children up from the gym lobby after worship.
Check in stations will be set up in the narthex (back of sanctuary) and back hallway (near nursery). Children’s ministry team members will be available to assist with check-in if this is your first time. All children will receive a name sticker and parents will receive a matching one for pickup. Do not worry if you arrive a few minutes late, (we have all been there), we will hand out handwritten ones on our way to the gym.
Pick up will be in the Gym Lobby. In keeping with our Safe Sanctuaries policy, parents will not be allowed into the Gym for pickup. Please bring your “pick-up sticker” and we will dismiss as quickly as possible. We thank you for help keeping Children’s Ministries safe and organized.
Nursery (6 weeks to 2 years)
We have a nursery available during worship, and we welcome infants aged 6 weeks through 2 years. Drop off and pick up in the nursery hallway (hallway in the front of the sanctuary)
All nursery staff are CPR and first aid certified and have been background checked.
PLEASE REVIEW the NEW Children’s Church and Nursery Protocols listed below.
· Check-In stations in the front of the Sanctuary (nursery hall) and the back of the Sanctuary (Narthex).
· All children receive a name tag and “pick-up sticker” for their parents.
· Nursery (6 weeks to 2 years) drop off/pick up in nursery hallway.
· Children’s Church (3 years to 5th grade) pick up is in the gym lobby
· In keeping with our Safe Sanctuary policies we thank you for not entering the gym or nursery room.

Wednesday Evenings August to May | 4:45-5:30 p.m. | Choir Room and Room 212
Get Fed (3 yrs-2nd grade)
Children will learn the Bible stories through interactive play, video lessons, crafts and mission work. They will have an opportunity to run and play either in the gym or the playground (weather permitting).
Club 345:
We didn’t forget about our big kids! 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will meet from 6:15-7:00 in The Living Room. Pickup is in the gym lobby.

Excellent programs require excellent volunteers! Contact Caroline Enright to sign up to teach or assist or complete this form now! It is required by Haygood’s Safe Sanctuary Policy that anyone who works with children must be Safe Sanctuary-certified.
