Volleyball for Girls in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Grades | Haygood Gym

Haygood started  a volleyball league in the Fall of 2011.  We had four teams of 5th, 6th and 7th grade girls.  We were all beginners and had a blast !  We focused then, and will continue to focus on teaching the girls the basics of the sport.  Last fall we used trainer volleyballs in practices and matches.    If enrollment numbers permit, we will have a separate 5&6th and 7&8th grade leagues.  Please consider Haygood Spikers for fun and challenging activity for your daughter!  Pertinent details below:

Ages:  Girls in 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th grade

Registration opens:  July 2012

Registration closes:   When we reach 40 girls

Cost:  $100 - includes team t-shirt

Matches:  Sunday afternoons from 1:00 to 5:30.  5 matches.

Practices:  Week nights 6:00 or after at Haygood gym, starting the week of _______

Teams: No more that 10 on a team

Coaches:  As always, we rely on volunteers.... please consider volunteering!
