Cub Scout Pack 17

We are part of the North Atlanta District, in the Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. We have 5 dens, covering each of the Cub Scout levels. Tigers are first graders. Wolves are in the second grade. Bears are third graders. Webelos 1 and 2 dens cover the fourth and fifth grades, respectively. More than seventy Cub Scouts have a terrific time in our monthly pack meetings and in their individual mothly den meetings. Most of these are held at Haygood, which has supported Pack 17 for 20 years. Cub Scouts work on projects, learn about all sorts of things (bike and water safety, outdoor skills, history, and many others), earn a myriad of awards, and raise funds for scouting activities and community projects. We also go on campouts, hike, go sailing, do crafts, go to interesting and fun places, attend summer camp, and have a great time with our friends and families. Space Camp in Huntsville was our latest trip. The Pinewood Derby, where scouts and their parents make and race wooden cars, is next. Everyone is welcome in our pack.
